INSPEERATION: Visual Imagery × Creativity
The Delft Design Lab Connected Creativity (TU Delft) invites Tilburg University on November 6th, 2025, for an inspiring exchange on how becoming aware of your inner mental processes can open up new dimensions of creativity.
Together, we will look at the role of internal experiences, such as visual imagery and inner speech, in shaping creative thinking and problem-solving, and consider what it means when they are absent, as in conditions like aphantasia or anauralia.
Beyond understanding these “inner tools,” the program will also highlight ways to translate them into outward practices, such as sketching, visual thinking, or symbiotic forms of creativity—that make the invisible visible.
In line with our tradition, the event combines insight with experience: interactive activities will bridge theory and practice, giving space both for hands-on exploration and for deepening your knowledge.
